Wines by the glass, which range from $9 to $15, run the gamut from traditional Merlot, Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio to new age classics including Malbec and Albarino. Selections hail from all over the globe, including California, Washington, Chile, France, New Zealand, Italy, Argentina and Spain.
Cello’s menu of sharable small plates includes Classic Cheese Fondue, Italian Empanada, Creamy White Beans, Hot Copoccolo Panini and sweet satisfactions such as the Donut Sandwich and Fresh Peach Pizza.
The new nook on the block brings character and charm to Midtown East. Brick and mirrored walls and high ceilings give Cello a rustic touch, while adornments including retired wine barrels and a shelf of aging bottles that lace the ceiling transport guests to an authentic European osteria.
